About Modern Kitchen Kit

Modern Kitchen Kit is a small, independent guide to kitchen gear. One editor, no sponsors, no sponsored reviews.

We write for home cooks with a normal kitchen and a normal budget. Every guide answers three questions: what to buy for the job, who it is for, and who should skip it. The "skip it" part is the one most sites leave out, and it is the part that saves you money.

How we pay the bills

We earn a fee when you buy through our Amazon links. The price you pay is the same. We do not sell products, take payment for placement, or accept free products in return for coverage. The full policy is on the affiliate disclosure page.

What we do and do not claim

Some pages are hands on: we own the product and use it, and the page says so at the top. Other pages are research picks: we compared the specs, read owner reports, looked at the common return reasons, and judged the fit for the job. Those pages say that too. We never claim to have tested something we have not. Read how we choose for the method.
